Helping Children Heal to Triumph over Trauma

Our role is to protect children with disabilities or neurodivergence by helping communities identify & prevent Child Sexual Abuse. We deliver innovative, trauma informed therapeutic programs to help children heal from trauma.

Sacred Justice provides a safe space of healing and connection for child survivors of sexual, psychological, physical or verbal abuse, and trauma caused by medical procedures.

This is a sacred, nurturing space just for US – children with disability or neurodivergence and their families.

You and your child are heard, believed and supported in your journey of grieving and healing. We provide a peer support environment for your child to release negative emotions about the injustices committed against them, by the people and institutions that fail them. Once they’ve released shame, powerlessness and guilt, we help your child rebuild themselves piece by piece to get down to the business of resilience, empowerment and unwavering strength.

We support your child to integrate their trauma experiences as just one of the many stories that shaped their lives, on their way to becoming powerful Change Agents. We deliver programs to children of all abilities, including non-verbal, minimally verbal, deaf, hard of hearing, blind or hard of seeing children.

The term neurodivergence includes people who have a medical diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, ADD, OCD, PDA, dyspraxia, dyslexia, Tourette Syndrome, Acquired Brain Injury, Epilepsy, PTSD, Complex Trauma or similar.

What if...

we could turn your child’s trauma into their super power?

your child could heal to triumph over trauma?

we could empower your child to transform from a victim into a strong and powerful Change Agent?

your child could get ‘justice’ through their own inner healing?

your child could have a great time doing it?

Well, guess what? We absolutely can!

Therapeutic Support for Survivors + Prevention of Abuse

Our Purpose

Sacred Justice is a Not-For-Profit Organisation, Australian Registered Charity and Deductible Gift Recipient established in 2021 on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. We advocate for:

  • Policy Change
  • Improved Preventative Measures
  • Protective Behaviours Education
  • Trauma Informed Care within Child Service Providers.

We are the only organisation in Queensland that delivers effective therapeutic support to non-verbal and minimally verbal children, who are survivors of sexual, psychological, physical, verbal abuse or medical trauma…

Our Mission

To provide intensive, holistic therapeutic support to children with disability or neurodivergence who have survived sexual, psychological, physical, verbal abuse or trauma associated with medical experiences.

To ensure child survivors, their caregivers and siblings are supported and given effective tools to heal after abuse or medical trauma has impacted their lives.

To develop community led solutions to protect the most vulnerable children within service providers in the midst of Australia’s worst child sexual abuse epidemic in history…

Our Vision

To purchase land, build and operate the Sacred Justice Therapeutic Healing Centre on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland for children with disability or neurodivergence to access holistic programs to heal from traumatic experiences.

Every protective and safety measure imaginable is implemented to protect non-verbal and minimally verbal children from abuse.

Porn culture is abolished.

"The greatest threat to humanity is child abuse, especially child sexual abuse"

"The greatest threat to humanity is child abuse, especially child sexual abuse"

We envision a New Earth for our children where they are treated as sacred beings who are safe to experience the joy of life without the never-ending threat of victimisation and sexualisation. The most vulnerable children are fiercely protected and cared for in Trauma Informed Care environments.  Porn culture has been abolished and communities have fool-proof strategies in place to protect children from predatory and voyeuristic behaviours. Our children’s safety is the number one priority, above all else.

Grooming

“Recognising grooming behaviours is the simplest way to identify a victim, because predators use exactly the same strategies”

What is Grooming?

A process by which a person prepares a child, significant adults and the environment for the abuse of a child.

A predator uses several strategies from the ‘Grooming Play Book’ – a predictable, repeated pattern of behaviours that facilitate access to and the continued abuse of a child. Predators use an arsenal of techniques repeatedly over a medium to long term period of time (weeks/months/ years).

If staff and parents learn to identify grooming behaviours, they could spot a predator in-action within a service provider. Many predators develop careers within child service providers for the sole purpose of accessing multiple children. Understanding grooming is an effective early intervention strategy and the easiest to learn.

Signs of a Groomer?

A Groomer can be identified through specific behavioural patterns. A perpetrator:

  • Is a voyeur
  • Films and photographs children for their own personal collection, in a personal or professional setting
  • Commonly targets single female parent families with young children, particularly daughters
  • Studies a child’s primary caregiver/s  to find out what they know about child sexual abuse
  • Becomes ‘part of the furniture’ in family life or at a child service provider, where the child attends. They seem to always be around.
  • Much more. Keep reading.
